Experimenting with .gif format photographs in 2009, Kevin Burg a visual graphic artist, didn’t really get it right until he partnered with photographer Jamie Beck. The result of capturing an image that adds life to what would otherwise be just a simple photograph is now called a “Cinemagraph”

Today, the cinemagraph process has been made easy through smartphone applications such as iCinegraph for iPhones and fotodanz for Android along with a number of tutorials have been posted everywhere on the internet. But this still doesn’t compare to the moments captured by Kevin Burg and Jamie Beck.
